Sports

At Robert Carruthers we believe in the holistic development of every child and that education is more than just academics.  Therefore we offer numerous sporting codes to pick and choose from, every afternoon from Monday – Friday.  After all a healthy body is a healthy mind.  Athletics, hockey, netball, swimming and soccer are some of the sports we are known to excel in.  These also provide individual learners to showcase their natural talents.    Rugby, cricket and tennis have delivered a number of individual outstanding sportsmen and women.  Year after year a number of athletes proudly represent us at national level while our team sports perform well at provincial level.  Dedicated coaches, supportive parents and well-maintained sportsgrounds enable to us to develop the skills our learners need to reach their potential.
